Today was probably a perfect day that i got to spend at the beach in Cape Cod. It’s days like this that i remember looking back at the year. It’s small things that i like about being by the water : the warm sand, iced coffee, and salty water.
I’ve met up with an artist and jiu-jitsu instructor Edwin at his studio space to create a video highlighting different aspects of his work out practices and how they all come together in his day to day life. Edwin was so full of creativity and passion for different art mediums so i captured some photos of him painting on the floor of his studio.
Yesterday, I organized a bridal-styled photoshoot at my favorite venue in Somerville, MA - Warehouse XI. I collaborated with a few other female wedding vendors and was excited to meet them and to create 3 different looks for the shoot. My vision for the bride was a dreamy, romantic style with inspiration from women in paintings from the 18th century. It felt great to collaborate with other talented creatives to achieve our vision.
I met up with my client on a hot Sunday afternoon and was up for a creative challenge since it was a high noon and any photographer knows how difficult that time of a day is for taking photos :) But to my delight we found a lot of good places around campus to shoot and get great lighting!
